Summer camp registration form

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

The Cumberland Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce the 2008 Summer Day Camp Program for Cumberland residents. This year the camp will runs for 6 weeks, beginning June 30 through August 8, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Camp is open to ages 5-13. Children must have been previously enrolled in Kindergarten and due to enter first grade this fall (please bring report card).
Camp will be closed on Friday July 4, 2008.

Garvin School
Ashton School
Community School

Registration will be held at the Diamond Hill Ski Lodge on June 2nd. through 6th.  Hours for registration are 8:30am –12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm

Registration fee is $70.00 per child with a late registration fee of  $85.00 per child

Registration forms may be obtained at registration or downloaded in .pdf format from the Parks & Recreation section of the Town of Cumberland website: www.cumberlandri.org

Additionally, there will be a 1 hour baseball clinic held once a week for 5 weeks at the Upper Deck Baseball Academy located off Martin Street at 1 John Dean Memorial Blvd. Transportation will be provided to and from the clinic on days to be determined. The fee for this clinic is $50.00 per child, up to a maximum of $100.00 per family. The clinic is grouped by ages: 6-8, 9-11 and 12-13. Registration and fee for this baseball clinic should be submitted at time of camp registration.

PLEASE NOTE:

When registering for camp, please bring proof of residency, the child’s birth certificate and a check made payable to “Cumberland Parks & Recreation”. DRIVER’S LICENSE # IS REQUIRED ON ALL CHECKS.

The Cumberland Prevention Coalition is looking for some new members to join their committee that plans and runs the Junior Olympics every year at Tucker Field.  Anyone interested should contact Andrea Trottier at 556-4171 or cumbtaskforce@cox.net

 

Regular monthly meetings of the Parks & Recreation Committee are held at 7:00pm on the First Monday of each month at the Parks & Recreation Department office, 4097 Diamond Hill Road, unless otherwise indicated via web site/newspaper postings.
