The Town of Cumberland through the Office of Planning and Community Development is seeking proposals from qualified construction firms with experience in historic preservation projects for Construction Services for our Franklin Farm Farmhouse Rehabilitation project.

           

Sealed Proposals clearly marked Town of Cumberland- Request for Proposals- “CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR REHABILITATING THE HISTORIC FRANKLIN FARM FARMHOUSE” BID # 2017-0519-05 will be received at the Town of Cumberland Finance Department-Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Cumberland RI 02864 until 12:00 p.m. on Friday- May 19, 2017 and then said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud In Town Hall Council Chambers. Please include five (5) copies of your proposal. Bid Specifications are available in the Finance Department.. Electronic copies of the Bid Specifications can also be downloaded from the Planning Department’s webpage at http://www.cumberlandri.org/office-planning-and-community-development.

 

There will be a Mandatory On Site Pre- Bid Meeting Tuesday May 9th at 10 am, at Franklin Farm located at 142 Abbott Run Valley Rd. in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

           

The Town of Cumberland reserves the right to accept or reject, without prejudice, any and all bids to waive any irregularities therein, or to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Cumberland.  The Town of Cumberland does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, religion, national origin, color or disability in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
