The Planning Department works with the Planning Board to review applications for land subdivision. The Department is the primary agency which handles grant writing and grant administration. Also, the Planning Department is responsible for maintanance of the Comprehensive Plan and long term land use policy.

The Planning Department is unable to give zoning information/advice over the telephone. For your research convenience, the Zoning Ordinance Book is available online as well as in the Building Department in Town Hall. Zoning Ordinance Books are also available for purchase for $10.00 each in the Building Department
