Holidays effecting trash collections

Mayor Daniel J. McKee has announced that the Town of Cumberland now has two pods located at the Kent Street garage for electronic waste.  One pod is available for discarded televisions and the other to accept electronic waste.  Electronic waste is described as computers, cell phones, CPU monitors, printers, keyboards, laptops, zip drives, scanners, modems and mouse devices.  Disposal is free and items may be brought to the garage Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  This program is for Rhode Island residents only.
