Board of Assessment Review

The Board of Assessment Review is responsible for guaranteeing property owners’ rights to fair and impartial decisions regarding property assessments.

Board of Canvassers

The Cumberland Board of Canvassers consists of three members and two alternates who with the assistance of the Town Clerk and Canvassing Clerk. They are responsible for all aspects of national, state, and local voting and elections.

The Board of License Commissioners has the authority to approve, issue, renew, transfer, suspend, or revoke any or all alcoholic beverage licenses under its control within the Town.

Housing Authority

The Housing Authority shall have the powers necessary to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of the laws of the State.

Juvenile Board

The purpose of the Juvenile Board is to hear all cases referred to it by the Juvenile Division of the Police Department or the Chief of Police with respect to persons under the age of 18, who are charged with violating the laws of the state, or the Town.
