Message from the Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Cumberland Police Department, I would like to personally welcome you to our department’s website. It’s our hope that this site will be informative and provide you with greater access to the functions of our police department.

In addition, we are working to update our web page with information that all members of the community will find useful and important, in keeping our citizens knowledgeable of the many officers, individuals, and functions of the Cumberland Police.

Our website is just one way of showing you the sense of pride, professionalism, and dedication that the members of this department strive to achieve every day. It’s our belief that while the mission of the Cumberland Police is to serve and protect the public, it’s also our obligation to keep you informed of the various changes occurring within our Department.

Mission

The motto for the members of the Cumberland Police Department is “Working Together to Build a Safer Community.” The men and women who serve on the Cumberland Police Department are constantly working to provide improved safety and service for everyone who lives, works, or visits the Town of Cumberland.
