In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”), the Town of Cumberland, Rhode Island, will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. The Town is committed to increasing opportunities for individuals with disabilities by facilitating full and equal participation in all aspects of civic life. In keeping with this mission, the Mayor’s Office provides the general public with information about accessible programs and services and acts as your liaison to the various departments of Town Government.

Process and Procedure

In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the ADA, the Town has established a grievance procedure for individuals with disabilities.  Complaints that a municipal program, service, or activity is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to Interim ADA Coordinator, Sarah King.
